Just enough time for a last newsletter for the year, and what a year it has been for the Construction Industry! With more work passing through Buller George Turkington than ever before, the whole team has pulled together to provide an exceptional effort over a prolonged period. To cope with the increased load we have employed a new Graduate Engineer, and welcome Mick Conneally to the Buller George Turkington team.
Also of note this year has been an increasing awareness of the need to maintain and improve quality standards in Construction, with the responsibility lying at all levels of the process - from the Design Consultant to the Steelie tying the reinforcing cages together. Developing an understanding and appreciation of the importance of everyone's role is a major part of this, and can only lead to higher quality finished products.
With a large amount of work on the cards for 2005, it looks likely that we will all be continuing at this level for a good part of the next year. With that in mind, all of us at Buller George Turkington wish you a relaxing and refreshing Christmas break, and a very celebratory New Year.
Best wishes
Buller George Turkington

The Structural design and supervision for all of these projects (and numerous others) have been undertaken by Buller George Turkington within the last two years.
Innovative solutions (part 1)…..
Over the years we get to see (and participate in) many instances of innovative problem solving - some better than others.
This years prize has to go to the team working on City Zone, for their solution to the task of working out how to get the site crane down at the end of the project, using one of their largest mobile cranes, on Auckland's steepest street (with just a little help from a friend).
We think they did a pretty good job, don't you?
