Buller George Turkington collaborated with Mainzeal Property Construction Ltd and other consultants on Sovereign House, Smales Farm, Takapuna. This inimitable structure presented some unique earthquake engineering challenges, generated by the architectural geometry of the building. Development of trust relationships with the Consultants and Contracting teams enabled the project design and construction issues to be identified early and clearly defined. Quick resolution of these points allowed for ease of progress on a building that stands out from the rest. Buller George Turkington were awarded a Merit Award at the ACENZ Innovative Awards in 2008 for their part in design of Sovereign House.

Located at Smales Farm in North Shore City, this multi award winning building comprises of three separate towers, tied at roof and ground levels, and linked by a series of flying bridges through the central atrium. Striking enough on the outside, this building is all about the quality of the environment for the people who work within.
